Low back pain and early death imminent

It’s no secret that sitting has the potential to exacerbate low back pain.  To avoid sitting related low back pain, the natural curve of the lumbar spine should be maintained while in a seated position. This basically means don’t allow your back to round out too much while in a seated  position.  Sit up straight and tall or lean back with support while maintaining the lumbar curve.  Also, a sitting position should be changed continuously.  Subtle weight shifting every few minutes from the left to the right side is sufficient.  These two tips need to be applied if you MUST sit.  If you are at all able, GET UP!!

Sitting for too long and/or sitting in the wrong position will eventually lead to low back pain; there is no way around it.   Low back pain may be the least of your worries if you sit too much because sitting will literally kill you.  Check out these sitting related facts, then stand up and go do something active!!
